A Rhythm of Eight part 2 | New Ghost Stories Podcast

You can listen and download the New Ghost Stories Podcast from a number of platforms. And if you enjoy this ghost story podcast, please take a moment to leave a review. It really helps the show.

After 4 years, 58 uploads, 41 stories, and 10 bonus episodes, the time has come for a pause.

By this time last year, we had nearly burned through all the complete stories in the New Ghost Stories Archive. Season 4 of the podcast consisted of the final two stories from the archive and all the new cases I was able to complete throughout 2023 and 2024 and prepare quickly for release.

I’ve never had to do so much casework in such a short amount of time. I also moved house again recently too. Along with putting out the longest episodes of the podcast ever, I could also really benefit from giving myself a rest. This is a one-person operation, and alongside my regular day-to-day work it has become harder and harder to get the episodes out on time.

Is this the end of the New Ghost Stories Podcast? I don’t think so. I do have cases that are as yet unexplored. There are important and interesting stories out there that I want to tell. But it isn’t possible to continue the podcast as an ongoing monthly show any more. When, hopefully, new stories are available, they’ll come out together in a series, or perhaps split into a couple of batches. It’ll depend on how things go over the next 18 months. The first priority though is to definitely give myself a bit of time off.

Thanks so much for listening to the podcast. I really do appreciate it. And if you want to hear about new episodes dropping sometime in the future – make sure you stay subscribed and follow the social media channels.

New Ghost Stories Podcast
Hear witness accounts of the supernatural. Author David Paul Nixon has spent almost a decade travelling Great Britain and collecting lost ghost stories that have never been told before. Are these stories of madness, lies, or self-deception? Or could they be the real thing? The only way to find out, is to listen.
